Intro

Hi everyone. My name is Monjwock, I'm from a new country in Africa called South Sudan.
I'm the fifth born in a family of seven. My tribe is called Shilluk, it's the third largest tribe in my
country, we have our own king, YES OWN KING! It sounds weired to some people. I'm here at GCC doing my pre-requisite, I'm majoring in Petroleum Engineering, going to be a  production
engineer too bad no university offers my course in Arizona that's why I'll be leaving GCC next year.
I'm planning to earn my bachelor's drgree from Texas A&M University in College Station.

I like travelling a lot, I lived in four different countries, I lived Sudan, Egypt, Kenya and Uganda and I also spent some time in Ukraine Europe. I think Petroleum Enginnering is the right career for me because petroleum engineers can work in more than one country and will give me a chance to visit different countries. I'm interested in learning as many languages as I can. I speak seven different languages. I'm learning Italian now and still have a list of other languages to learn including Spanish and German. I don't know where I will be working when I graduate, so learning these languages might help me to communicate with the different people from the different places in the world.
I play basketball and soccer. and I'm a big Lakers fan, although they suck this season but I never lost hope in them. My favourite soccer team is Barcelona, I want to go to Spain just to watch them playing.

  1. Wow, that is so neat that your tribe Shilluk is the third largest of your country! Even more cool that you have a king in your tribe. I find it fascinating that you have been to all those places and can actually say that you have lived there as well. I hope that one day I will be able to travel like you have. I Hope you the best at Texas A&M.

  4. Monjwock--Good intro and blog set up. Looks good. Unfortunately, you don't have the assigned or self-generated entries.

  5. Also, it is interesting that the name of your blog is also the name of the first entry? I would suggest changing to be something more engaging and general. You haven't been creating a new blog for each entry, have you?

  6. Monjwock,
You have an interesting story and I think with the work ethic that you are demonstrating, you will be very successful. Also, I think you speaking so many languages is a wonderful thing. The world would be a better place if we all spoke even half that many languages.
